the lift was out of service an inconvenience i hadn't bargained for it was rather annoying considering the hotel has multiple floors

The buffet breakfast was very good, with loads of choices. It included a full english breakfast, cereals, pastries, and fruit. we found a lovely big bar area. the staff were friendly and helpful, they made us feel welcome from day one

i noticed some dust on top of the wardrobe, though it was a very minor issue.

the location was very convenient near the north and south pier. it made accessing nearby attractions easy. the hotel is situated close to the promenade, it is a short walk.

uncomfortable bed poor soundproofing

The bed in the double room balcony was not comfortable. It felt quite old. additionally, the noise insulation was poor. i could hear street noise late into the night and early in the morning. This made it difficult to sleep. i expected more for the price i paid. it seemed like the walls were paper thin, noise was a real issue.

Really good Hospitality

smooth check-in super clean room

staff were really good, waiting for me after hours for my late arrival, ensuring a smooth check in. the room was super clean and spacious, reflecting the overall cleanliness of the hotel. breakfast was delicious and fresh.

the hotel is undergoing a change in ownership as of september 2025, some of the older facilities may require updating. the water pressure was poor and the water was lukewarm. the room was very hot, and the radiators were difficult to adjust.
